simply serve with cream (or on its own) and enjoy.
Being a Coeliac myself, I know how frustrating it is not to be able to have all
the lovely foods that I used to have. My puddings are handmade in a totally gluten-free environment by myself.
The recipe for this wonderful pudding was
given to me many years ago by a great friend of mine who now lives in New South Wales, Australia. Sue still makes hers too
but I've adapted my recipe so that all of the ingredients are gluten-free.
It really is a fantastic treat - extremely
naughty but most definitely nice!
Ingredients include:
- Galaxy chocolate (inside and out!)
- Ginger
Biscuits (Village Bakery)
- Brownies (Sainsburys)
- Digestive Biscuits (Sainsburys)
- Currents and Raisins
- Butter
- Golden Syrup
- Cinammon
- Brandy
- A dusting of icing sugar.
I have found these little puddings to be great for gifts as long as you keep one
for yourself of course! No cooking involved. Simply eat on its own or with some fresh cream - enjoy...
